Tree Trek

Sunday, June 25th at 2pm. Meet at MooseWood Nature Center.

Brush up on your forest ecology as you learn how to identify the features of several important U.P. trees such as pine, maple, oak, willow, and aspen while treking on Presque Isle park. Interact with parts of trees and pictures of trees (i.e. flowers, cones, needles, leaves). The program will also discuss the different uses that trees provide for wildlife as well as humans.

Suggested age range: 10 years and up, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
