Story Time at MooseWood: Wild Turkeys

Sunday, November 5th, 11:00 am.

We will begin by reading the story, “Little Tom Turkey” by Frances Bloxam. Tom is a wild turkey chick, who discovers that given time and patience, he will learn everything he needs to become a magnificent Big Gobbler. An introduction on tracks and animal signs will be given, turkey coloring pages, and a sampling of turkey poop. Guests may also enjoy a visit in the nature center once the program is complete.

Suggested age range: 4-7 years old, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
