Story Time at MooseWood: Playdough is for the Birds!

Story Time at MooseWood: Playdough is for the Birds!

Sunday, June 25, 11:00am.  Meet at MooseWood Nature Center.

The book, Bird Builds a Nest by Martin Jenkins will help us learn about how nests are built and the type of materials used. We will search outdoors for materials, use what is provided, or you can bring material with you. Using homemade air dry playdough and chosen materials, guests will create their very own unique bird nest to take home.

Suggested age range: 3-8 years old, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: Registration is not required, but appreciated.

MooseWood Nature Center is an independent, non-profit organization supported by memberships, donations and grants. Our mission is to celebrate nature through education and action in the Upper Peninsula.
