Story Time at MooseWood: Fireflies!

Fireflies or lightning bugs? No matter what you call them, these fun glowing insects help complete a perfect summer evening. 

The books, “Fireflies” by Julie Brinckloe, and “Living Lights: Fireflies in Your Backyard” by Nancy Loewen will be read. Following the book reading, there will be a fun activity. Guests may also enjoy a visit at the nature center.

Suggested age range: 5-8 years old, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
