Story Time at MooseWood: Where Do the Animals Go?

Creatures of all sizes deal with the cold temperatures of Winter in many different ways. Many migrate to warmer areas, some stay and adapt to the changing conditions, while others hibernate or become dormant. The book, “When Winter Comes” by Nancy Van Laan will be read. Adaptations, hibernation, and migration will be briefly discussed.
Suggested age range: 3-7 years old, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
