Spooky Thrift Art

Saturday, October 12 at 4:00pm at MooseWood Nature Center.

Fee: $25/person (includes all materials and instruction)

Recommended age: 16 years and up. Crayons and markers will be available for kids to color on paper if they join as well.

This class is being offered to the community through a partnership with local artist, Kitty Capelle of Hope-Dreams Art.

Bring the TikTok trend to (after)life! Add ghosts, pumpkins and more to thrift art for one-of-a-kind decor. Students will learn how to embellish thrifted art to make paintings that look authentically quirky. We will work from pages of art books, and students can make as many pieces as they’d like! Impress all your friends with a gallery wall of embellished masterpieces. No experience needed. Coloring pages provided for free to kids while adults paint.
