Pottery 101: Slab-building and Texturing

Tuesdays, June 3 and 10 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Ages: 12 to adult. $20 per person for both sessions. This is a Members Only program.

This two-session program provides instruction and practice in rolling clay into slabs, and then texturizing, patterning, and cutting components. The parts are then fused to make a cylindrical whimsical planter. These will be kiln-fired and returned for the second session where participants will learn about washes and glazes for textured pieces. Finished pieces can be picked up at the Center at a later date.
