Playing with Pottery
Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31
Noon-4 PM- pottery wheel throwing demonstrations
1 PM: Pinch pot and coil pot construction for all ages
When people talk about throwing pottery, they generally mean the process from the time the clay touches the wheel to the time the wheel is stopped. In this more general (and most commonly used) sense, throwing is the entire activity of shaping the clay on the potter’s wheel.

Join us for a pottery wheel demonstration and the opportunity to test your skill at bowl making, either with the wheel or by hand. Don’t want to get your hands dirty? Pottery will be available for sale with proceeds benefiting the Center.
