Nature Arts & Crafts Workshop: Build a Plant Press

Sunday, September 17th at 3pm. Meet at MooseWood Nature Center.

Encourage a sense of wonder in scientists of all ages by creating your very own plant press. Preserve the flowers and colorful leaves found in your backyard. Plant pressings can be incorporated in any DIY project.

A supply fee of $10 will purchase one kit. To complete the press, the boards can be sanded, decorated (painted, decoupaged, or take it home to decorate), and absorbent papers need to be cut to size. Materials can be brought with or collected on site.

Suggested age range: 8 years old and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must register for this workshop. Limited number of kits are available. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is required by Wednesday, September 13th.
