Making Pottery Tiles

The MooseWood Nature Center is excited to introduce a new members-only series giving participants the opportunity to explore their inner artist. “Art at MooseWood” provides small-group instruction in creative beginner art projects. Have you ever wanted to dabble in pottery, develop your nature photography skills, or try your hand at watercolor? Here’s your chance.
Sessions will begin in May and will take place at the nature center, often outside regular open hours. Necessary materials will be provided for the program fee. Some classes meet once, and others require multiple sessions to complete projects. Prior registration and Center membership are required to participate, and sessions have very limited enrollment to facilitate individualized instruction.

Making Pottery Tiles

Tuesdays, July 1 and 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Ages 12-adult, $20 per person for both sessions, includes all materials. This is a Members Only program. Membership starts at $15.

This two-session program introduces participants on how to create and glaze textured ceramic tiles for trivets, small backsplashes, or decorative wall art.
