Gems and Jewelry

Sunday, August 11th, Noon – 3:00 pm.

Drop in to join our resident jewelry artisans for an opportunity to create your own jewelry necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Choose from Center-supplied shed snake skin or a variety of available semi-precious gems as the base for your pieces. Items can be mounted in sterling silver or other media, and silver necklaces will be available for purchase. Bring your existing jewelry pieces for cleaning and examination by our graduate gemologist.

Suggested age is middle school and up. Costs will vary depending on components selected, with general ranges of $10-$50 per completed piece. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
