Sunday, October 8th at 10am – Noon. Meet at the smaller, north-most Sugarloaf parking lot off of Co. Road 550.

Come learn about the identification, science, and beauty of trees with MooseWood, volunteer, and forester, Sean Fisher. Take a guided tour on Sugarloaf Mountain and discover many of our spectacular UP hardwoods and conifers, during peak fall colors. 

Suggested age range: 10 years and up, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Please register to let the program leader you will be attending.
