Creature Feature: Lizards
Tuesday, March 25th at 6:00pm at MooseWood Nature Center
Lizards are a diverse and ancient group of reptiles that live around the world today. There are thousands of lizard species, and each has special adaptations and traits. They range in size from the smallest chameleon, at 13.5mm long (as small as a sunflower seed) to the largest, the komodo dragon at 10.3 feet long.
This program is being offered by Easton Zivnoska and Grace Souza, in partnership with Critter Classroom. Join us as we learn about and take a closer look at some unique lizards: skink, gecko, and bearded dragon.
Suggested age range: 6 years and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
