Creature Feature: Invertebrates

Saturday, February 17th, 3pm.

An invertebrate is an animal without a backbone. In fact, invertebrates don’t have any bones at all! Invertebrates that you may be familiar with include spiders, worms, snails, lobsters, crabs and insects like butterflies. However, humans and other animals with backbones are vertebrates.

For this program, we’ll take a small glimpse into invertebrate diversity. Animals on hand will be tarantulas and millipedes.

Suggested age range: All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
