Butterfly Bonanza and Native Plant Sale

Saturday, May 24th, Presentation 11:00 am, Plant Sale Noon – 2:00 pm at MooseWood Nature Center

U.P. Native Plants will present Butterfly Bonanza: Native Plants for U.P. Moths & Butterflies. The presentation will discuss the importance of moths and butterflies both as pollinators and as components of the local food chain; why what we plant matters to local moths and butterflies; and specific pairings of native plants for U.P. moths and butterflies.

A “pop-up” plant sale to benefit the nature center will follow the presentation. Native plants provide for bees, butterflies, and birds, and will add beauty to your home and garden. Wildflowers, woodland plants, grasses, and more will be available. Plants are containerized in roomy quart pots for the sale. No early-bird sales please.
