New at MooseWood:
The MooseWood Nature Center is excited to introduce a new members-only series giving participants the opportunity to explore their inner artist. “Art at MooseWood” provides small-group instruction in creative beginner art projects. Have you ever wanted to dabble in pottery, develop your nature photography skills, or try your hand at watercolor? Here’s your chance.
Sessions will begin in May and will take place at the nature center, often outside regular open hours. Necessary materials will be provided for the program fee. Some classes meet once, and others require multiple sessions to complete projects. Prior registration and Center membership are required to participate, and sessions have very limited enrollment to facilitate individualized instruction.
Artists, Crafters, Creators, and Makers Wanted:

Botanical Prints Using Watercolor

Learn this fun technique and simple way to create a cyanotype effect with watercolors. We will create these using watercolor paper, paints, stencils, and some creativity. Recommended ages: 10 and older. Space is limited. Please email moosewoodnc@gmail.com, with name of each participant, to reserve your place. Program fee can be paid at the start of the program.
