Beautiful Bog Slog

Sunday, August 20th, 2023 at 3:30 pm. Meet at MooseWood Nature Center.

Gain an appreciation for and the benefits of wetlands by learning about the different types present in the upper peninsula, and the animals that live there. Interact with wetland animals and artifacts in the classroom (dry moss, cattails, willow) and then we will walk to the Presque Isle Bog to view and identify flora and fauna.

Suggested age range: 10 years and up, but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required, but appreciated.
