Recycled Papermaking

Sunday, June 30th, 11:30pm to 1:30pm

This program is a beginner friendly, hands-on way for kids and adults to learn how recycled-content paper is made. Bring your own materials with you! Recycled paper can include: printer paper, paper bags, junk mail pages, comic books, and gift wrap are all great options to try. Other elements or natural materials can also be added to your hand-crafted paper recipe. Each participant will make their own recycled paper to take home to color and decorate as they please.

Registration is required for this program. Please email to register by Friday, June 28th with names of participants. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Program has a limit of 10.

Suggested age range: 8 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family.
