Upcycling Workshop: No-Sew T-Shirt to Tote Bag

Looking for ways to reduce your use of single-use plastics? 

Come join us in celebration of Earth Day to explore ways of living an environmentally friendly lifestyle, and learn how to make your very own tote (bag) from an upcycled T-shirt.

Participants are required to bring their own T-shirt (can bring more than one). Size of the tote made will depend on the size of your T-shirt. For small bags, you can bring childrens’ T-shirts; for large totes (bags), you can bring oversized T-shirts. No sewing experience necessary. If you have fabric scissors please bring them with you.

Suggested age range: 12 years and up. Guests younger than 12 need to be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family. Registration email: moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is required by Friday, April 21st.
