Winter Scavenger Hunt: BugZzz Around Town 1

Saturday, November 21st at 4:00 pm.

Recommended ages: 7 and up. Youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Winter is a time when outside bugs/insects come indoors. This scavenger hunt is designed to provide an indoor activity to learn about bugs that can be found around the home or incidentally when out and about town. Youth will learn about some common bugs, where you might find them and be encouraged to find ones not on the scavenger hunt.

This is the first of a two-part program. Youth will first learn about and investigate bugs, then the children will return (in December) and share about what bugs they found. Upon completion of the two-day program, youth will earn a Moosewood Junior Insect Naturalist patch.
