Pottery Toad Homes

Members-only class, $20, ages 12 and up. Maximum of 10 participants. Preregistration required.

As Spring approaches, our yard and garden animals start to venture out of their winter lairs. A single toad can eat up to 10,000 insects, slugs, and snails per year, and ceramic toad homes provide these garden friends with durable protection from predators and heat. In this two-session class, you’ll create and decorate toadstool-shaped homes from clay for these garden helpers.
