Lake Sturgeon in the Great Lakes

Join us for a discussion about the largest freshwater fish in North America! Learn about Lake Sturgeon’s unique ecology, biology, history, and how we manage our fisheries to support this incredible species. Edward Baker is an expert on sturgeon and is the Research Station Manager for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ Marquette Fisheries Research Station. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is suggested to help support MooseWood Nature Center.
