Bird Feeder Treats & Winter Adaptations
Sunday, February 15th, 2:00pm. Recommended ages: Families
Join us to learn about basic winter adaptations. Local birds such as chickadees, cardinals, and woodpeckers must find shelter, water, and food to survive in our harsh Michigan winters. We will explore these adaptations, observe birds at the feeder, and build simple pinecone feeders using peanut butter and seeds. This program will be led by volunteers, Matt Betts and Tiffany Rantanen.
Note: a peanut butter alternative will be available.
