Description: Project WET workshops provide educators with 6 hours of training plus classroom ready teaching aids to assist in the facilitation of promoting awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources.
Objectives: Formal and non-formal educators will be able to understand, adapt and utilize Project WET activities into their curriculum, setting, time frame and/or audience.
Content: There are over 91 Project WET lessons and activities designed for K-12 educators offering interdisciplinary water related concepts that will meet the curriculum objectives or standards. Water related concepts can be found in almost any subject area (science, math, language arts, social studies, art and even music). Meets MI Curriculum Framework Strand V. Standard V.2
