Presque Isle Park Clean-Up

heal the world

Litter happens whether it is intentional or not. It is unsightly and collects on our beaches, waterways, hanging from tree branches, and along our streets and parking lots.  Litter may be a problem, but we as a community can take steps to help keep it pristine.

MooseWood Nature Center and the Northern Michigan University’s Medicinal Plant Chemistry Club are joining forces to clean-up Presque Isle Park, one of our jewels of the Upper Peninsula. Please join us on Sunday, October 24 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  Meet at the nature center. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Dress appropriately for the weather.
